Insulating glass molecular sieve

Molecular sieve is the name for crystalline artificial aluminum silicate.. It is an adsorbent, and it takes the form of microscopic porous balls and pellets. The sieve has pores with a 3 Angstrom resolution.

The material is characterized by high water-absorbing, adsorption capacity, mechanical strength, low dew point, low dust formation. Because the pores on the surface of sorbent granules are uniform in size and shape, it is possible to selectively absorb substances from the environment through them, even though their molecules are smaller than the pore diameter.Due to these properties, it is in demand as a dehumidifier in glass industry.

Insulating glass molecular sieve has been designed as a high water capacity adsorbent with the lowest capacity for air or other gases. The highly selective pore structure of assures excellent water dew point protection while eliminating the co-adsorption of gases in the sealed air space.
Insulating glass molecular sieve can minimizes pick up of other gases, it reduces adsorbent contribution unit deflection and stress under severe climatic conditions.
It increases gas-filled nit production rates since units can be sealed immediately after filling. In addition, the use of insulating glass molecular sieve maintains unit sound and heating insulation values by minimizing the adsorption of gases from the sealed space.

Insulating glass molecular sieve is applied to fill spacers in the production of double-glazed windows. It is used to maintain a low level of humidity for a long time, to neutralize the moisture that forms in the area between the panes due to the penetration of water vapor into the glass unit. Compatible with any type of glass, sealants, provides a longer service life of the double-glazed window. Due to the small diameter of the holes, it does not absorb krypton, argon, therefore it is recommended for chambers filled with both air and gas.

The product as desiccant cannot be exposed in the open air and should be stored in dry condition with air-proof package.
